Jeanología creates a washing machine that runs on oxygen without water or chemical products

This pioneer technology called GS, which has been built by the investigation and development center Jeanología, has just been unveiled today. Enrique Silla, the manager of this Valencian business, leading company in the world of the development of technology for jeans, has underlined that it’s the first industrial machine that obtains the Eco-technology certificate given by AITEX, the Textile Technological Institute. This eco-washer only uses oxygen to wash, for the moment, jeans and T-shirts, transforming the atmosphere’s air into gasses with two generators, thus obtaining perfectly clean garments. The saving capacity of this machine is radical, without even needing to mention the massive improvement for the environment, states the company. Jeanología adds that if all the textile industry would use these oxygen eco-washers, we would be saving 4.5 billion kilovats of energy, 2.4 million tons of chemical products, 1.2 billion cubic meters of water – which is the equivalent of two years of electric consumption of a country like Nepal or six years of human consumption of water in the Valencian Community. For the time being, Jeanología has only sold 20 machines since each machine costs approximately 100,000 euros.
